Meet Pyotr Pankratau, an army soldier from Belarus recently found a baby squirrel that was on the verge of death. Instead of leaving the poor animal to die in agony, he decided to nurse it back to health. He fed the squirrel using milk in a syringe. What happened next is really incredible.

Pyotr named his new pet squirrel Masik.

He is an adorable little creature.

When Pyotr left the military, he decided to bring his little buddy home with him.

The former soldier became a taxi driver and he even hired the perfect little assistant.

Pyotr said that he took Masik everywhere with him while he was serving the army. So, the squirrel was already used to go around.

Masik has a standard routine at home too. His daily activities include eating and sleeping in unusual places such as the kitchen, under a blanket, or in the wardrobe. The squirrel likes to sleep with Pyotr, really close to his neck. However, he is a very independent animal.

The former soldier believes that there are no better animals than squirrels. He also said that Masik ran away once, but he immediately returned. Recently, Pyotr put him on a tree, but Masik got really scared and even started trembling.

Pyotr’s passengers aren’t always aware that there is also squirrel in the car. He doesn’t want to show him to everyone because he doesn’t want to disturb all the time. However, when some of the passengers are children, he likes to show off Masik but watches him constantly.

The squirrel loves to play with the kids.

If you ever end up in a taxi in Minsk, search for the squirrel. It would be really surprising to hop in a taxi and see Masik.
