Meet the dog who has a heart on her chest!
This cute dog is unique because of his heart-shaped patch of fur. The border collie was living in a shelter in Oklahoma, but after a picture of her was shared on social media, she found her forever home!
Last week, the Broken Arrow Animal shelter shared a picture of the unique looking dog on Facebook. The picture was shared more than 27,000 times.
Although many people were interested in adopting the dog, one family went the extra mile to make this border collie a part of their family.
On Wednesday, 27 hours before the dog was put up for adoption, a family from Tulsa decided to wait outside the shelter in order to leave with the pooch.

On their website, the shelter announced that when a stray animal arrives, it has to spend at least 5 days before it can be adopted.
In addition, adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. This method explains why the family was so eager to wait outside the shelter for 27 hours straight.
The shelter shared the good news on social media the next day. The staff was very happy to announce that the dog who touched so many people across the country has found her forever home. Also, they thanked everyone who shared their post.
In the comment section, many social media users wrote that they are glad and happy that the dog has a new home. They also want to see more happy endings for other shelter animals.
In an interview with Fox23 News, Kyle Johnson said that he and his family will name the dog Luna and she will be given to his sister-in-law as a present for her wedding.
There are around 50 dogs and cats at the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter that need a forever home.
