Animals are living things and deserve to be treated with love and decency. They should never be treated like trash. If you can’t take care of them, don’t have them. It is really heartless of someone to abandon a dog and move from the house, leaving the dog stranded to care for itself. This happened with a family who moved from their apartment and abandoned their dog outside to cater for itself.
How cruel.
The neighbors spotted the dog wandering the place. The dog was so loyal to the old family that even after they abandoned him, he will return to his familiar porch in the house, it never occurred to him that the old family was never coming back. This happened in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

A shelter foundation for Animals was contacted by a neighbor. They showed up to pick the dog but found him having scraps of food from a dumpster. Janine Guido was the founder of the Shelter Foundation (Speranza Animal Shelter).
Janine went back to get food for the dog as the dog wouldn’t let them touch him. He’d run back to the old family’s front door waiting for someone to open the door. Janine finally gained his trust and drove him to the Animal Shelter in tears as she felt heartbroken by the sight of the dog. Meanwhile, the dog was calm throughout the trip. Janine had reassured the dog and said: “things would be better now, we won’t let you down, we’ll care for you, ok?”. Janine further stated that the dog practically sat down and allowed her to leash him.

It was almost Valentine’s Day when they picked him, so they named him Cubid after he settled into his new home and had since been a gentleman. Janine said, “Cubid has been a happy dog since he got to the Shelter, he is always wagging his tail. He has been nothing but a cute, calm doggie”.
Janine further stated, “Cubid is around 45-50 pounds. He was found with scarring and hair loss. And of course, the Shelter will find him a good home and a vet to be neutered. Yes, his health first”.
A good home won’t be a problem for Cubid once he is ready and put up for adoption because he already has over 50 adoption application since he got to the Shelter.
A dog as loyal as Cubid won’t find it difficult to get a good home.
Dogs are really sensitive and loyal to its owner.
