Meet Leon, the lawyer cat! Before he became a lawyer cat, he was a homeless stray. However, things got better when he was hired by one company.

After many people filed a complaint against the furry animal, the Order of Attorneys of Brazil decided to hire the kitty. Before he was hired, he was hanging around the place for a few days. Leon was only looking for a shelter which made some people angry. So they decided to file complaints against him at the reception.

According to the lawyer’s representative, there was heavy heavy rain in the state of Amapa, Amazonia, so the scared cat arrived at the OAB fleeing from the storm. He spent a week protected in a box and well-fed.

People filed complaints about a homeless cat hanging around the reception desk. They were scared they would step on him as he was so small. They said that OAB is a serious institution and it’s not a place for cats.

The president of the OAB didn’t know how to stop the complaints. So, he came up with an amazing idea – he hired the homeless cat and even gave him an employee badge!

Dr. Jeanette Laredo shared the good news on social media and the post quickly went viral. Many people were happy to see Leon as an official employee!

Although the homeless cat was first hired to greet people who come to the building, he received a promotion and he became a lawyer! He also has an Instagram account with more than 50,000 followers who love to see his daily updates.

Even though some people didn’t like his presence, now everybody loves him! Leon’s favorite place to sleep is President Auriney’s sofa. He is now a healthy cat who loves to play and eats regular cat food.

He might even have his own office in the future, as it has been reported that the documents to launch an animal rights institute to help abused and abandoned animals are in the final stage. It will be called Instituto Dr. Leon, and it will fund the NGOs in town.
