The wombat called Mr. Magoo arrived at Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue and Hospital in New South Wales, Australia, after his mom died. His rescuers cared for him until he was healthy and strong enough to be released back in his natural habitat. Although that was a few years ago, Mr. Magoo still comes back to visit. However, with every visit, he stealing food from the snack bin.

Mr. Magoo had a big appetite since forever. Even though he is not an official resident at the rescue anymore, he still remembers where the food bins are. He isn’t afraid to climb in and get a snack by himself.

Although he’s already been released into the wild, Mr. Magoo’s rescuers are more than happy to see him! They have caught the adorable wombat a few times stealing food.

Roz Holme, the owner of Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue and Hospital, said that he is a gentle soul.

However, it seems that Mr. Magoo’s sneaky eating has been catching up with him. Before, he was able to easily pull himself out of the food bins. Recently, he was found stuck in one of the food bins and asked the staff for help.

“Sometimes he can get out, but lately I lift him out,” Holme said.

Although Mr.Magoo loves eating out of Holme’s house and home, she loves him a lot and can’t help but smile when she sees his food-covered face pop out of a bin yet again.

“I wonder why my feed bill is so high,” Holme jokingly wrote in a Facebook post.

Lately, this has been happening a lot. Many of the past residents are coming back to the rescue and search for food. Unfortunately, it’s getting harder for animals to find food because there’s been a drought in the area. Holme and other rescuers are more than happy to welcome back every wombat! They said that they will continue to feed Mr. Magoo and his friends as long as they need it.
