Did you know how baby sloths communicate? Once you get to know sloths, you will realize how cute and smart they are.

Sloths are sweet, but lazy animals who love sleeping all day and all night long. They have long arms and may resemble monkeys in a way. However,  their lineage suggests that they are more related to animals such as armadillos and anteaters.

Sloths can be usually found in tropical rainforests, in the Central and South American areas. They are the slowest, laziest animals in the world, but they are also one of the smartest.

Some people believe that sloths are so slow because it’s their way to survive. However, sloths are moving slowly and camouflage well within the forest, avoiding the predators. They also allow many kinds of algae to grow on them for a better their disguise.

But, sloths have an extremely low metabolic rate and travel 41 yards per day, which is less than half the length of a football field.
