How painful it is to see a gracious animal trapped in a cage? Many people don’t understand that animals aren’t our property, but living beings who should live in their natural habitat.

Unfortunately, many animals are captured for breeding purposes and sold for money on the black market instead of running out the wild.

This about a leopard trapped in a cage proves that humans can be very cruel. Fortunately, there are some humans who want to fight for animal rights and be their voice. This poor leopard animal was caged and bred all the time. Like that wasn’t enough torture, he was also declawed, which is really devastating.

Voodoo is an African spotted leopard who was rescued when he was just 5 months old. He currently lives at the Cedar Cove Feline Conservation & Education Center.

A couple purchased Voodoo from a breeder and wanted to make him a house pet who will play with their two Rottweiler dogs. He was just 3 months old when he arrived at his new home. Although his paws were declawed, he could still overpower his owners and was very hard to keep him.

Since Voodoo was so aggressive, the couple decided to bring him to William Pottorff at Cedar Cove. He still lives there and he is well fed and showered with love and affection. Finally, he lives a happy life!

In this video, Voodoo is captured in a good mood. He is very thankful to the people who showered him with love. When one of his caretakes reached out to pet him, the big cat responded in the nicest manner. Do you hear that wonderful sound?

There isn’t much difference between house cats and wild cats. After all, they have the same body language.
