There are many stray dogs in the United States. While some of them get rescued, others spent their lives on the streets. And this puppy with a mustache has quite an interesting story.
Just a few weeks ago, Hearts & Bones Rescue organization brought a stray Shepherd mix to Dallas Animal Services. The stray dog gave birth to 11 cute puppies. However, there was something special about one of the puppies who had black markings on her face that look like a mustache.
The puppy was named Salvador Dolly because of the unusual marking that looks like the mustache of the Spanish painter Salvador Dali.
There are many stray dogs coming into the shelter, making it hard for workers to find them homes as soon as possible. Luckily, the whole family is staying in a foster home until they find a fur-ever home.

Salvador Dolly, her mom, and all of her siblings will be up for adoption by the end of August. The puppies are still nursing so they are closely monitored during they stay at the foster home. Their mother is being taken care of in order to have enough strength to take care of all her babies.
Although there are weeks before the family goes to New York for adoption, people fell in love with Salvador Dolly and are already applying to adopt her.
The volunteers are currently taking care of the puppies. They are really overwhelmed and happy for Salvador Dolly, but they are hoping that her mom and her other siblings will receive the same attention as the ‘Mustache Puppy’.
