Meet Hallee Fuqua, a dog lover from Oklahoma who decided to volunteer at a local dog shelter during the thanksgiving break. She created a special bond with one of the shelter dogs.
So, her father Lance decided to surprise her at Christmas and adopt that dog. Even though she asked for a dog for many years, her wish was never granted.
When Hallee laid her eyes on the dog, her dad recorded the magical moment. As soon as she started volunteering at the Humane Society in Stillwater, she fell in love with a dog named Rambo.
Hallee and the Plott Hound and Mountain Cur mix immediately bonded and the girl could sit next to him for hours. However, she was aware that she can’t be in Rambo’s life forever. She knew that a family can visit the shelter at any time and adopt Rambo.

However, little did she know that her father had a plan. He wanted to secretly adopt Rambo and give it to his daughter as a Christmas present. It was a hard mission to adopt the dog in secret because Hallee worked at the shelter.
When Hallee found out that Rambo was adopted, she was devastated and heartbroken. However, she wasn’t aware that the dog would be hers soon enough!
Lance managed to capture Hallee’s reaction on video when he gave the dog! The video was shared on social media and quickly became viral! Her reaction gathered over 12,000 likes and it has been shared over 4,000 since it was posted. Such a beautiful and pure moment!
Lance and Rambo were sitting together when Halle opened the door. She was shocked to see her favorite dog from the shelter inside her home!
When the dog went over to greet her, Halle cried and cuddled the dog at the same time. She couldn’t believe that the dog was is now hers!
After adopting Rambo, Lance went online to ask for donations for the shelter. He is such an amazing dad! We believe that Halle will never forget her Christmas!
