When getting a dog, the animals don’t have a problem adjusting to their new lives. Dogs basically become a member of our families. However, have you ever wondered what happens when dogs see their real families?

Recently, what began as a normal walk for two cockapoos actually became a family reunion when the siblings recognized after running into each other on the street.

Although the two dogs haven’t seen each other in years, they instantly recognized each other. They even hugged after spotting each other.

The dogs, named Rosie and Monty, were born to the same litter last year. Although they were 6 of them, Rosie and Monty were the closest siblings and always hung out together.

Susan Killip is Rosie’s human mom. Her friends who live in a nearby village adopted Monty and even watched Rosie for a week. However, the dogs never saw each other again until last month.

Killip said that the reunion was so lovely as both dogs jumped up and even hugged each other. Although the last time they saw each other was 10 months ago, they still remembered!

Libby Pincher shared the cute story on Twitter. She posted a conversation with her dad which immediately went viral.

Although there is a debate about whether dogs can remember their siblings, social media users and Killip now know for sure that the dogs recognized each other.

Dog siblings usually have warm reactions when they remember each other or notice something familiar in the other dog.

However, it doesn’t matter if Rosie and Monty could tell they are siblings, they are aware that they live near each other. Hopefully, And their parents will reunite them again once the COVID-19 restrictions will be removed.

Although it’s difficult to keep in touch at this moment, Killip said that Rosie and Monty we’ll be having their walks together soon.
