You can often see how fishermen feeding bald eagles on social media but in real life, you have probably never seen such a large gathering of these birds at such a close-up distance.

The bald eagle, with its white-feathered head and white tail, is the proud national bird symbol of the United States. Though their numbers have grown in much of their range, they remain most abundant in Alaska and Canada. They live near water and they also make a snare and eat small mammals. These powerful birds use their talons to fish, but they get many of their meals by scavenging carrion or stealing the kills of other animals.
