Every pet owners love his furbabies, no matter what. Who wouldn’t want to cuddle with their furbaby after a long day? Pets are always there for us, to cheers us up when we are down.
Liz Haslam is one of those pet owners who really loves her dogs. She is determined to care for them and protect them whenever they need it. Although she doesn’t expect anything in return, she still receives lots of love and gratitude. The bond between Liz and her dogs is so strong, she wouldn’t let anything or anyone stand in their way.
However, her husband Mike recently made her choose between him or the dogs. Her choice was clear, so she picked the dogs instead of her husband.

Liz met Mike when she was only 16. They fell in love and after Liz finished high school, they immediately got married. She thought Mike was her soulmate. After the wedding, the couple moved into a two-bedroom house in the English countryside. They also had a child together and they named him Ollie. However, their love wasn’t enough to stay together, so they end their marriage after 25 years.
Liz started rescuing dogs after she was married. She had enough space in her home to even start a new business called Beds for Bullies. Her business was actually a foundation with main focus to provide temporary homes for bull terriers in need. Liz has loved dogs since she was a child. Her mother raised West Highland Terriers, and her father was the owner of an animal feed company.

However, her husband Mike wasn’t really supportive of her actions. Eventually, he became overwhelmed and their relationship changed. Her business drove a wedge between them and he made her choose between him or her dogs.
Liz was surprised after Mike’s ultimatum. However, she chose her dogs instead of her husband. It appears that the love she has for these dogs is bigger than her love for Mike.
It should have been very clear to Mike that she wouldn’t leave her dogs. Since their goals weren’t going in the same direction, the couple decided to end their marriage.
Although Liz has been struggling with the end of her marriage, she is now very happy. After all, she is doing what she wants!
