Earlier this month, a little kitten was brought into a veterinary clinic after she was rescued and immediately caught everyone’s attention because the kitty has a couple of weird but adorable ears.
After the kitty was rescued as a stray, she was brought to a local rescue in Rowan County, North Carolina. She was found with a neck wound and an upper respiratory infection and was taken to Cabarrus Animal Hospital for treatment. All the staff there immediately fell in love with the friendly stray with a pair of Yoda-like ears.

According to Jana Aviles, who works as a veterinary assistant at the hospital, the little kitten is treated by Dr. Alisha Kidwell. “The kitten is very sweet and very affectionate,” she added. The kitty is very tiny, it only weighs around 6.5 pounds, but she is full of adorable quirks.
Despite the fact that she is missing her canine teeth and sticks out her tongue, she is still cute as a button!
Her age is unknown. Although, she is very tiny to be an adult cat.”She’s healing well and is resting comfortably with lots of love from the staff here,” Shelby said.
The sweet kitty enjoys being cuddled and loves hanging out with her new human friends.”We carry her around in our hoodies like a baby kangaroo, and she just falls asleep,” Shelby said.
Although the kitten doesn’t have a name, employees at the clinic have been referring to her as the “Yoda cat” — because her ears resemble those of Baby Yoda.

The precious little kitty is currently being fostered at the animal hospital where she will receive the best care to help her recover. Once she heals, she will be available for adoption.
