People abandon their pets because of many reasons, such as moving, loss of interest, or lack of money. Usually, when people want to abandon their pets, they leave them in places where there aren’t many cars or people nearby.
What would you do if you see a person abandoning a pet?
In 2018, one woman in Texas was on her way to work when she witnessed how a stranger was taking the collars of 4 dogs from the car. The woman knew what the stranger was doing, so she managed to catch the whole thing on camera.

The woman said that she immediately put her shoes on and ran outside with a camera. While she was filming the incident, the woman confronted the stranger and suggested to bring the dogs in an animal shelter.
But the stranger didn’t want to listen, so when she got the last dog out of her car, she got back in her car and left. The dogs were confused as they watched her drove away.
This isn’t the first time someone does this in the area. Abandoning a dog is a crime and the punishment is a fine from $500 per dog.
The woman filmed the whole situation and then posted the video on YouTube and gained more than 900,000 views. However, the doesn’t end here.
A good man called San Antonio Animal Services, who managed to rescue three of four dogs. Then, the woman who abandoned the dogs brought her last dog to the shelter.
She returned to the place where she abandoned the four dogs and found him. Then, she turned herself to the police and confessed everything. Now, she’s facing a fine for her crime.
It appears that the woman got through her. Now, the dogs are safe thanks to the kindhearted woman.
