A security guard from Morrisons became a hero after protecting a golden retriever from the rainy weather with an umbrella.
A passerby took the picture just outside Morrisons in Giffnock, Glasgow on Sunday morning. Because it was raining in Scotland, the security guard decided to protect the dog from the bad weather by covering it with an umbrella.
Mel Gracie shared the sweet picture on Twitter and praised the security guard for keeping the dog dry. We don’t know how dogs feel about the rain, but humans don’t really like it.
After the picture was shared, it receiver more than 23,000 likes. Many Twitter users quickly praised the man for his kindness. Some of them even said that he deserves a pay raise.

This dog wasn’t a stray. In fact, his owner Jack Dudgeon couldn’t believe when he noticed that his pet Jem had gone viral. He wrote: “My dog is twitter famous…!”
Jem lives with Dudgeon and his family. All of them were surprised to see that their pooch became famous on social media. It’s a good thing that Jem loves all of the attention from strangers.
Unlike other dogs, Jem loves taking walks while it’s raining. However, he still needs a good wash after his walks.
Jem is the kind of a dog who loves to be in the center of attention and we are sure he’s glad to receive this VIP treatment!
