Former soccer star Hope Solo recently shared on social media that she was devastated after her dog was shot in an unprovoked attack. Unfortunately, the Doberman Pinscher dog is in critical condition.

Then, Solo shared a picture of her and her husband, the former NFL pro Jerramy Stevens, who were surrounded by their five Dobermans.

Her dog Conan is in a critical condition after it was shot. She said that it’s very hard news to share, but it’s even harder to make sense of this atrocious act.

The former soccer star is really thankful to the vets and other staff from Wilkes Veterinary Hospital. They worked very hard to save Conan’s life. They immediately took Conan into emergency care despite the current situation with COVID-19. However, she and her husband are really shocked and sad about the situation.

This is the first time Solo is experiencing this. So, she asked her fans and asked them for advice on how to make their dog’s life more comfortable because this unfortunate incident left him permanently mutilated.

Nowadays, there are huge developments in dog prosthetics. Since the medicine is so advanced, she wanted to get Conan a new front leg but wanted to know more information about canine prosthetics.

Although vets were sure that Conan will survive, sadly he passed away from blood loss this Friday. She shared the devastating news on her Instagram profile. She and her husband are now mourning Conan’s death.

The former Team USA soccer superstar didn’t share other information regarding the incident. She didn’t mention the location or date of shooting. Also, it remains unknown if the police have confirmed that the dog was shot on purpose or if the shooter was arrested.
