A baby boy died after trying to save his dog from his burning home.
While the 23-month-old boy was trying to save his puppy, he got trapped in the burning house and, unfortunately, died.
Kurtis and Caitlin Sharp lost everything Saturday when their house in Arkansas was burned to the ground. Like that tragic event wasn’t enough, they also lost their beloved son.
When the fire started, the couple and their children were outside. While the parents were trying to call for help, they lost track of their son who went back inside to save his dog. Unfortunately, Loki Nicholi Mason couldn’t save the dog and somehow got trapped in the house. Firefighters later discovered his body.

According to an investigation by the Gentry Fire Department, it’s believed that the cause of the fire is electrical. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
Kurtis posted the sad news on his Facebook profile and share details about Loki’s funeral arrangements.
Instead of wearing black, Loki’s family requested guests at the funeral to wear his favorite colors which are red, white, and black. The funeral was held in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Loki’s friends and his family got to say their final goodbye at the funeral.
After Kurtis and Caitlin lost their son and house, their family and friends decided to set up fundraisers in order to help pay for the funeral expenses and rebuilding of their home.
One of the fundraisers called Sharp Family Restoration was shared on Facebook, asking for donations. The couple is struggling after losing everything in their life. At least, we can raise money so they don’t have to worry about it.
Another campaign on GoFundMe for Loki’s funeral cost was also created. They have already raised over half of its $2,500 goal.
