A woman recently reported that the car was stolen with her dog inside from a south Mobile gas station. Fortunately, her car was found, but there was no sign of her dog named Sky.

The victim wants to remain anonymous. She said that it was a trip that they have already made many times before. In the mornings, they usually go for a ride on the Chevron on Dauphin Island Parkway and Duval Street.

She remembered last Monday morning when she went into the store but left the keys in the car. When she got out of the store, she noticed that her car was gone, along with her dog and cell phone. So, she went inside the store again in order to use their phone and call 911.

When the police arrived, they watched the surveillance video from the store. According to the video, a guy got in the car and took off while her dog was still inside the vehicle. The victim said that she didn’t want her car back, just her dog.

A few hours after the incident, the car was found abandoned on Magee Street in Prichard. Unfortunately, Sky wasn’t in the car. The victim returned to the area a week later and searched the streets calling out Sky’s name.

She was so desperate and didn’t have many options left, so she decided to ask FOX 10 News to put her dog’s picture out there. She is hoping that someone has seen her dog.

If you have any information about the dog who answers to “Sky”, contact FOX 10 News and they will put you in touch with the owner. The dog was wearing a pink collar with a bell on it when she went missing.
