Lions are incredible creatures. They are the second largest cats in the world, right after tigers. Lions are the only cats with a mane, which scientists believe it’s some sort of neck protection during fights.
The best way to see a lion is to go on a safari, not in a zoo. In zoos, animals are kept in small enclosures. But, lions can roam free in safari parks, which gives the opportunity to animals lovers from around to world to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Something unusual happened in Taigan Safari Park in Crimea. While tourists were riding the bus, they saw a lion. Then, something unexpected happened: the lion went inside the bus which shocked the tourists. However, the lion wasn’t aggressive at all. He just wanted to be petted and offered hugs to the tourists. I guess a cat is a cat, no matter how big it is.
At first, the lion started rubbing against the driver and even shoved him out of his seat. Fortunately, the driver wasn’t injured at all and even petted the lion after he got out of the bus.
Tourists were surprised, but also happy for the lion. They started taking pictures and videos in order to keep them as valuable memories. Nobody freaked out and this day seemed to be the best day for the visitors.
When Oleg Zbukov, who is also known as the lion whisperer, witnessed the encounter, he got comfortable and even started playing with the lion.
One of the visitors probably needed some liquid courage, so she had cognac before entering the park. However, this is not recommended to do.
Before entering the park, all visitors are given health and safety instructions. Also, they aren’t forced to visit the park, they do it voluntarily.
